Cream teas are served daily from 10-30am until 5pm in the courtyard at Powdermills between Easter and October half term. Locally-made scones are served with lashings of clotted cream sourced from Dartmoor's dairy farm only 7 miles away, and heaps of Devon's awarding-winning strawberry jam. Even the tea is blended in the South West. All served, of course, in Powdermills pots.
Take the time to relax and treat yourself to our cream tea whilst soaking up views of tors, streams and wild moorland landscape.
Oct-Easter, when we are open at weekends only, we serve hot drinks and the 'Homemade Cake of the Day' between 10am and 4.30pm, sat snugly around the woodburner.
